I am available for freelance shooting, assisting and retouching.
I am also working toward the completion of my graduate thesis project at Ohio University's School of Visual Communication in the Scripps College of Communication.
My graduate thesis focuses on workflows for shooting and retouching architectural exteriors and interiors. The completed project will be an instructional seminar that explains how to tackle common physical and technical barriers when shooting architecture. My targeted completion date is May of 2011.

Freelance Retoucher TRG Reality - Cleveland, Oh May 2009 - July 2010 Worked as a digital retoucher in a nationally recognized photography and CGI studio. Contributed to projects individually as well as a member of a team in complex workflows. Tasks included outlining, cleaning, compositing mixed source images, color correction and client interaction. Key clients included Things Remembered, TTI Floorcare/Hoover, Nestle, Sherwin-Williams and Kichler Lighting. Familiar with Wacom pen tablet.
Freelance Photography & Production Assistant Kalman & Pabst Photo Group - Cleveland, Oh May 2009 - May 2010 Worked as an assistant in several capacities – grip, digital and production. Setup and operated Broncolor lighting and Mamiya camera systems using Leaf Software, light construction and labor. Worked in small tabletop settings, location shoots and large scale catalog productions. Also ran craft services for large-scale photo shoots. Key clients included Arhaus Furniture, Smucker’s, Nestle, Progressive Insurance and Little Tikes.
Photography Instructor Virginia Marti College of Art & Design - Lakewood, Oh November 2009 - June 2010 Instructed college students in 35mm camera operation and creative uses of camera functions in two beginner’s level courses. Focused on composition, color, creative lighting and studio lighting. Also instructed students on darkroom processing and printing techniques as well as creative application of darkroom techniques.
Lead Photographer & Retoucher Forest City Enterprises, Inc. - Cleveland, Oh June 2006 – March 2009 In-house photographer for a leading national real estate developer. Focused on travel and studio photography of architecture, interiors, portraiture and events. Also specialized in digital retouching, digital asset management, Web content management and communication strategic planning. Photographed annual report content as staff and freelance.
Photographer Appalachian Center for Economic Networks - Athens, Ohio December 2005 – June 2006 Served as product and event photographer for non-profit organization, promoting economic sustainability of local artisans and trade people. Contributed to launch of Website, promoting local artisans and craft by producing photography to sell goods.
Photographer Ohio University School of Visual Communication - Athens, Ohio September 2004 – June 2005 Acted as photographer and research assistant for faculty within the School of Visual Communication. Assembled and created slide shows for instructional lesson plans.
